- BCP = Birth Control Pills
- Beta = Blood test to detect pregnancy hormone
- BFN = Big Fat Negative (on a HPT)

- DE = Donor Eggs
- DH = Dear Husband (even when he's being anything but dear)
- DS = Donor Sperm
- DX = Diagnosis
- Endo = Endometriosis
- ER = Egg Retrieval (process in IVF)
- ET = Embryo Transfer (final step of IVF)
- FET = Frozen Embryo Transfer
- Follies = Follicles
- HPT = Home Pregnancy Test
- HSG = x-ray of Uterus and Fallopian tubes done by inserting dye through the cervix
- ICSI - intracytoplasmic sperm injection – a process used in IVF, particularly in cases of Male Factor Infertility
- IF = Infertility
- Injectables = follicle stimulating hormone (aka “stimms”)
- IUI = Intrauterine Insemination
- IVF = In Vitro Fertilization
- Lap = Laproscopy
- M/C = miscarriage
- MFI = Male Factor Infertility
- OHSS = Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome
- PCOS = Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
- POAS = Pee on a stick (taking a HPT)
- RE = Reproductive Endocrinologist
- S/E = Side Effects
- SA = Semen Analysis
- Stimms = follicle stimulating drugs
- TI = Timed Intercourse
- TTC = Trying to Conceive
- U/S = ultrasound (aka a date with the dildo cam)
